What we build

Trim, millwork & stairs.

Finish carpentry is the part of a house people touch every day. The casing you walk through, the stair you climb, the mantel the whole room is built around.

    Board and batten, grid panels, raised panel wainscot, accent walls.

    Custom fireplace mantels, built ahead and fit to the room.

    Built-ins

    Built-in bunk rooms and custom built-ins made for the space.

    Custom stairs

    Stair finish work and runner hardware. Sometimes all it takes is three pieces of hardware per step.

    Feature walls

    Two-story fireplace walls, batten patterns and accent walls.

On the bench

Some of the best pieces start long before they reach the house.

A mantel like this one gets built ahead, where there is time to get every joint right. Then it is set in place and fit to the room it was made for.

Prolific Homes is a Southern Utah finish carpentry company working alongside custom home builders. We do it the traditional way: careful, patient work meant to last as long as the house does.

We see skillful work as a way to glorify God, and we are teaching the next generation to do the same.
